Salfords Light Railway

The Salfords Light Railway diary

February 2004

First visitors of the year.

We visited Paul at Ride on Railways and got to test drive the prototype HERCULES. This loco could pull a house down. OK, I do not weigh as much as a house, but you know what I mean. It is a beautiful smooth runner.

To say it was cold was a bit of an understatement.

Paul is organising an open day at a club track on 24th April where HERCULES will make its public debut. Definitely a date to put in the diary.
